Krista Hampton iHuman Contact Dermatitis

A 25-year-old otherwise healthy female presents with a two-day history of an intensely pruritic, erythematous papular rash affecting her inner thighs and left inner forearm. She reports recent exposures, including hiking through the woods, using a hot tub, applying a new lotion, and consuming scallops for the first time. On physical examination, there is a well-defined, linear, erythematous blistering rash measuring 6 cm on the left inner forearm. Additionally, a 10 x 12 cm area of scattered, contiguous erythematous papules with superficial excoriations is noted on the inner thighs. Her vital signs and the remainder of the physical examination are unremarkable.
